Haven't had surgery yet. If the office staff is an indication, I should probably reschedule with some one else. Office staff has zero consideration for patients lives when scheduling pre op appt. I was told "that would just be a lot of phone calls" when I asked why I wasn't consulted prior. So I made the phone calls and rescheduled appts. Wish me luck!

Dr. Lyions took exceptional care of my husband after a tramatic injury. He was kind, caring and did an excellent job during the surgery! I will be recommending Dr. Lyions to everyone I know!

• failed to do a visual exam, until I asked about the obvious swelling •. Immediately wanted to do an injection with only touched the top of my knee through my sweat pants, and an x-ray that demonstrated I do in fact have cartilage . • Stated that this was likely arthritis, and he sees it every day •. Dissatisfied with this response, I refused an injection as I wanted a diagnosis. He then stated he would order an MRI and then I could come back and he would give me the injection then.

My knee was injured in a car accident so I went to Dr Lyon for an evaluation he came in poked my knee with his finger a few times asking if this hurt. He said from the mri there was a large hemotoma but no fractures. He was very short with me and didn't even want any follow up testing. Come to find out when I told my family Dr about my visit he was appalled and told me that poking my knee is not how your supposed to do an orthopedic exam on someones knee. I'm getting a new orthopedic Dr.

My wife fell hard on her arm/ went to the emerg. room on the weekend where they took an x-ray and told her to sched. an appt. with an orthopedist. She was in excruciating pain. She went to Dr. Lyions - he spent 3-5 minutes with her... looked at x-ray, didn't see any break, told her it would be better in two weeks. He also told her she shouldn't have been wearing the brace the emergency room gave her. Her pain continued - she went to her PCP - who took xray and confirmed a fractured elbow.
