Dr Lubowitz has helped me with issues on both knees - 6 years ago, he gave me a shot and I haven't had a problem since. This time, the shot worked some, but with a baker's cyst, I was miserable. He did surgery 2 weeks ago and I can finally walk comfortably after 2 doctors (1st was a NO) and 4 months. He answers all my questions, gives me time, and explains options. His staff at the clinic and the hospital are wonderful!!

Dr. Lubowitz has been treating me for a knee problem for several years and has given me the best care. He is very concerned for his patients. Always available when I need him.
in Ranchos De Taos, NM |
Dr. Lubowitz performed surgery on my husband. We were extremely satisfied with the entire process. We felt like the diagnosis was explained in great detail. We were given plenty of time to ask questions and felt very confident going into the surgery. The post surgery care was great. We recommend Dr. Lubowitz to all our family and friends.
in El Prado, NM |
He may have done a good job on my knee, but I suffered from the most pain in my life and should never have been sent home from the hospital on the same day as the surgery. When I asked the nurse what to expect after surgery, she said, You'll feel much better than now. The friend who took me home said I was screaming in pain. When she questioned the nurse, the nurse said that the pain med's would begin to work. When I needed more medication for pain and called at night, no one returned my call.

Dr. Lubowitz is a great diagnostician, a brilliant technician in the OR, and an excellent advocate for high-quality patient care. It sometimes takes a minute for him to actually listen to a patient's chief complaint, but once you have his attention, Dr. Lubowitz will offer several solutions to the problem which are usually the most conservative first. The office is run very efficiently....rarely does one have to wait more than a few minutes.
in Santa Fe, NM |
Dr. Lubowitz didn't appear overly hurried, but seemed impatient with my questions. I didn't perceive him responding to my concerns with the respect and compassion I would have expected. His exam felt overly brief and superficial given it was my first visit. Overall, I was not comfortable with my experience.
