I have been seeing Dr James since 2006. In Jan 2008 he performed a L5 fusion and in Jun 2008 he did a C3-4 fusion of my neck. You will never find a more compassionate or caring Dr than he is. He is like part of our family!

He just got his back broke an he won't do surgery unless it's him. His team was great too. Every time we talk to someone about his injury like his he recommends dr killeffer. Wonderful Experience! Dr. Kellifer performed back surgery on me after suffering with sciatica nerve problems in my back, down my leg, and to foot. He was very personable, knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. Surgery gave me fantastic results which I am so pleased with. Tennova Hospital was also a pleasure to have the surgery performed. Dr Killeffer was professional, confident and caring and his staff is top notch. It is no exaggeration to say he saved my wife's life. Other surgeons had given up and told her to live with her unbearable pain. She was on cancer patient level pain killers and still just wanted to die. His used his skills to fix her back and she was back to work within a few months. You will not regret trusting your care to Dr. Killeffer.

His assistant Tara was rude & unprofessional, she refused to do her job. She wouldn't leave a message for the N.P. so I could get the correct test ordered by N.P. Regina. Dr. Killefer was arrogant, quick, and uncaring. He smiled while offering to do a 4 level cervical fusion and told me it was about hopeless to help my pain. When I asked a question and for him to look at my MRI & X-Ray he acted like it was bother. He acted like I was lying about Regina recommending a different test. Horrible Dr.
