I had a tear on my left eye retina and needed to get a laser treatment and was referred to Dr. Heroman. During the procedure and right afterwards, he never explained anything that I need to watch out for, any potential risks, or symptoms I could experience. All he told me was I would expect a little bit redness on my eye and I should be okay after a few hours and able to wear contacts the next day. However, after I was home and the numbing medicine wore off, I started to feel bad headache, nerve-ache in my left part of brain, and I could barely open my left eye and it was FULL OF blood. The next morning I woke up, still feeling the same. I called him and he told me this was normal and just cosmetics and there is nothing he could do. I had to explain to him what other doctors do like eye-drops to help with this. I do not recommend him. Lack of responsibilities, empathy, experience, and instructions. Simply not the kind of doc or experience you want to go through.

Dr. Heroman is extremely thorough and competent. He is probably the best doctor I have ever had at answering questions with not only what happens, but also how and why. Excellent rapport with patients, and always prompt responses to phone calls.

Wow, I have never met such a kind and compassionate doctor! I had a question post visit and, he personally called me within minutes of receiving my message and did much to calm my fear. You don't experience this anymore! I highly recommend this highly competent physician. Bless his parents who raised him right! That's what a doctor is supposed to do, care about his patients, but Too many have forgotten that! Not, this man!!!! 5 STAR

Just saw him today for a consultation. I really like him. He is down to earth, and explained everything that I needed done in a manner I could understand, including graphs of my eyes and what they mean. Very patient friendly. I am happy I have him as a new doctor for my eye problems.
