I visited OA urgent care and seen Dr. Goris’ nurse practitioner. Upon checkout I asked to see Dr. Lowery. Appointment was made. I even called back and update the appointment with Lowery. A few days later, I receive a call from office to say appointment has been cancelled (without asking) and “the doctor” wants to see you tomorrow. I ask, Dr.Lowery and they say no Dr. Goris and didn’t even both to tell me. They said it was against protocol to change doctors (even though we had never seen a doctor yet) and Dr.Goris would have to sign off. I called back to ask if he had signed off and the office lady was sharp with me and stated we will call you back when he’s signed off, I told you that earlier. We never received a call back until I called a few days later to transfer x-rays elsewhere. A note was put I file to call, but no one ever followed through. Communication with office staff was poor. Recommend looking at Tri-state Orthopedics for much friendlier and timely service.

Terrible bedside manner. No time for questions, rushed me out of appointment, didn’t give any recommendations to help heal injury..worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor.

Dr Goris was courteous, professional and thorough in his discussion of his treatment approach to my problem (arthritis of hip) . He reviewed my X-rays with me and treatment options including conservative treatment, symptom management and surgery. When I told him I felt conservative treatment had failed, he reviewed the process for proceeding to schedule surgery. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Support staff was also friendly and prifrssuonal

I can't say Dr. Goris is the most personable physician I've ever had, but...he knows his stuff and was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my knee and what my options are and is up front about the prognosis. I appreciate that. He also took the time, despite a very busy practice, to answer all my questions.

I explained what happened and Dr Goris listened. Then he did an exam of my shoulders and we looked at the X-ray together. I understand why I need an MRI. Dr Goris has also treated me in the past for a broken ankle. He is gentle.

Dr. Goris has no time for his patients. He dismissed my concerns with no explanation and offered no explanation for the severe shoulder pain I had been dealing with. He literally walked out of the room while I was asking a question and mumbled something over his shoulder as he exited. It seems that Dr. Goris is more interested in running a "patient mill" than helping anyone with their injury.

Took my 13 year old daughter to Dr Goris per referral from her pediatrician for femoral anteversion. He examined her for about 45 seconds and proclaimed it to be a purposeful misstep, and suggested, in his words, "Try to be normal." And left. Absolute worst bedside manner and diganostic skills I've ever encountered. The practice reached out to us afterwards to offer a free follow up with a different doctor, so apparently they know that he has some serious issues.
