Dr. Gills performed my cataract surgery on 18 Oct and 28 Oct, '16. I had reading glasses but didn't need them for distance. My left eye, with an astigmatism, was done first with a Toric? Lens placed and I'm very satisfied with the results. My right, the best of the two prior, was then done with poor results that I'm not happy with. My right eye vision is now worse that before the surgery due to fluid buildup under an epiretinal membrane. They have now handed me off to their retina specialist.

I accompanied a friend to the office and know the office was very busy on day of visit. Dr. Gills was professional on entry to exam room but seemed to be in a hurry to see next patient. He only made occasional eye contact and explained planned procedure too quickly, He used medical terms and only expounded on layman's terms when questioned. I had he repeat and clarify terms and procedure. He did use a computer/ tablet picture to show what would be done which was good tool.
