My thoughts on my experience with Dr. Ellis were that he was very nice, induced himself very pleasantly. He listened and wrote notes as he let me explain my problems and the reason why I was there! He was very careful as he checked me out, and even checked another problem and addressed that. He told me I had several issues we need to deal with but had to do one at a time! I told him my concerns as I was having surgery in 7 days and couldn’t imagine dealing with two of my big problems and having major surgery as well!! That limited his options as to what he could do! He quickly ordered an MRI for before the surgery. So I could have the results before surgery! He ordered some steroids instead of a direct shot until he finds out what’s wrong! Gave me a sample of some pain cream and ordered steroids and few pain pills! I left there feeling like for once someone listened to me thoroughly and I know he’ll have a plan after the results of MRI. I highly recommend him! Made me feel at ease!

Dr Ellis was very kind and personable. He asked good questions and listened well. He took my concern seriously and was very reassuring. He is a good doctor and I recommend him highly. His staff were also very concerned for the fears I expressed and helped me decide to keep my appointment!

The OAM staff is well organized and professional. Dr. Ellis was very quickly able to diagnose the source of my pain and disabilities. We now have a plan of action to resolve the problems. Dr Ellis is both professional and empathetic.

I had a very frustrating and upsetting experience with Dr. Ellis. At no point did he appear to care about my situation or give any indication he was willing to investigate the cause of my pain. He wrote off everything I said and kept offering me pain pills as the only solution. He told me, as a 27 year old in good health with unexplained chronic pain, that my pain is just something I’d have to “deal with” the rest of my life. Doctors like this are the reason we have an opioid crisis in America.

Too fast to blame my lack of leg control to my extra pounds. I'm 5'7 184 lbs. Really didn't listen and stated that I have a poor attitude.

I came to Dr Ellis to concisely learn through an EMG what was causing pain and numbness in my extremities. He was sloppy and copped a prognosis without Knowing my situation. and before commencing testing. He was an extremely poor listener and frequently cut in mid sentence with insensitive, judgmental opinions that went far beyond my present physical capabilities. Thus he was clueless to my history or limitations. His equipment was a shabby mess. He has 2 solutions Neurotin and Pain shots.
