Dr Dooner got me in right away with a lense detachment and suspected retinal tear. He took the time to examine me thoroughly and to explain what needed to be done to correct the problem. I never felt rushed even though he was extremely busy. I don't know many doctors who would spend a holiday weekend doing surgery and post-op visits on patients, but that is exactly what he did. He is a dedicated and compassionate doctor and his staff is great! I am so grateful to have been referred to him.

Dr. Dooner is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He takes his time to explain things to you, in a way that you can understand them. He is not like a lot of doctors who come in and visit for a few minutes and then leave. He takes his time with his patients. I am very happy that I found a doctor that is truly concerned about your eye issues.

      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
