Dr. Counce took it upon himself to perform a surgery that he didn't have any experience. Dr. Counce contacted his friend who was another cardiovascular surgeon to consult on how to perform a gastroenteric surgery.

Dr Counce has done two thoracotomies on me in the last two years. He has been clear in his explanations and in answering my questions. I saw him through Highland Oncology Clinic and the hospital but not in his office.
