Dr. Chu cut our appointments short all three times. You are charged for 45 min., but he schedules appointments every 30 min. Not ethical. Dr. Chu did not look at my brain CT. He depended on the radiologist that misread my CT. Another endocrinologist in SF, assessed my brain CT properly, looked at my labs and diagnosed me within 15 min of the appointment. A repeat CT, and labs confirmed the diagnosis.

I saw him for 3 thyroid tumors. I told him that one of my symptoms was depression at 4pm every day and he told me that the thyroid could never cause these symptoms and then asked me if I was MOLESTED AS A CHILD! I am guessing that he asked me this based on my filling out on the form that I had Bipolar Disorder, which is incredibly ignorant and disrespectful to patients with mental illness. Have since found out from another doctor that those symptoms were caused by my thyroid and peri menopause.
