I was at the scariest point in my life when I met Dr. Carter and his nurse, Bridget. New place, no family and the worse news imaginable. I wouldn't have made it through without this caring, loving and supportive team. I still drive 3.5 hours to see him for my well care visits because the time, heart and care given can never be replaced for me and my family.

He makes his patients feel important, takes time to help patients understand their diagnosis and prognosis, he listens & answers any questions fully. Since my cancer I have learned that after the worst is over & if u ever have a scare b/c u are hurting in a area that seems not right & u call his nurse & leave msg. 4 her to return your call (didn’t happen until 5 days later) she never offered to help me , never suggest 2 go to the ER , never offer to have me come in & have the DR do a scan or let him examine the area . I feel once the surgery is over & get ur $ they are done with you . I liked dr Carter ,but not going bck b/c of staff no help

Completely awful. The receptionist, was short, and did not want to deal with me. I asked her to review my insurance, and i didnt have money for a copay, but my personal doctor had referred me for critical blood levels, and really needed me to be examined. Im on disability for other reasons, and my check had not come in. They turned me away, instead of billing me. They were completely heartless, in the care of a patient. Its all money first, care later.
