Walmart pharmacy doubled my estrogen I. December causing me to have a stroke- which I didn’t realize at the time that was what was happening at the time. I waited for 2 months living my life daily in u certainty and fear. This man saw me less than 5 minutes- didn’t read the notes I had been taking during that time- made assumptions that were in correct and never heard a word I said. If you value your life- find a different doctor. He did all of this with the door open and others listening.

Please don't waste your time here. My mother had an appointment scheduled for 1:30. We weren't called back until 3:15. We then waited another 30 minutes to see Dr. Carnes. The nurse had no bedside manner. Sped through my mothers medical history like a robot on speed. Exchanged no pleasantries. Dr. Carnes seemed pleasant and thorough. He mentioned ALS but retracted and said he didn't think it was that. But didn't say the other host of diseases he said mimics ALS. Terrible experience and still no

This person can't think beyond what is directly in front of him. He is too old and not aware of treatment research or medical conditions for our current time. His attitude and bedside manners towards patients he treats is horrible. I don't recommend him or anyone else in his practice.

I felt it was necessary to leave a review of this practice, the staff and the facility. The office is located in the hospital, however the patient rooms and office areas are antiquated. Paper charts are stacked everywhere, exam rooms are musty and dingy. They do not accept credit cards and this is an inconvenience nowadays for most people. They also do not state their accept methods of payment anywhere on their outdated website. The office staff who work at the checkout and patient paymen

This fella might understand how the brain works physically, but it stops there. He doesn't seem to understand emotions and appears to think pain is not real. He will spend plenty of time talking but really only gives you about thirty seconds to talk. The whole appointment experience with the doctor was pretty ridiculous. He needs to work on focusing on patient needs. The staff is nice but the whole office beyond the waiting room is extremely outdated in a scary way. Do not bother.

He doesn't listen at all when you tell him a particular medication does NOT work for you. His bed side manners are horrible. His staff doesn't treat you any better!

Poor listening skills . . all kf Dr. Carnes answers to my concerns made me feel like an imbecile. He didn't address my problems, only pushed them to the side! He was God Almighty, I was just a lady with a brain tumor.

He did not listen to my concerns or acknowledge my severe pain. He stated 'pain is just pain. It won't kill you when referring to debilitating headaches ongoing over 4 months without relief. He spoke over me repeatedly, told me to 'take some advil. It's just a headache'. I had been referred to him by my surgeon (I had Chiari decompression surgery), who had already determined that I did not need surgery again, but that I needed pain mngmnt. Dr Carnes did NOTHING to help me. I can't fit it here!
