Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Carey "I am Director of the Penn Center for Advanced Cartilage Repair and Osteochondritis Dissecans Treatment, which is one of just a handful of cartilage repair centers in the nation. There are a very small number of surgeons as interested in cartilage as I am. We follow the clinical outcomes of all of my patients in order to ensure that treatments are optimized."

Dr. Carey refused to see me because I am 57 years old, too old for him.

He was extremely thorough. He took the time to give me and my wife an explanation of the diagnosis and review of the diagnostic tests. He has done surgery on myself and 2 other family members. He is excellent.
