As a provider in specialty of family medicine I am committed to providing compassionate yet evidenced-based primary care. From the care of children and their well-child checks and visits for acute needs to the care of their grandparents with their follow-up visits for their medical conditions (diabetes hypertension elevated cholesterol etc.) I take care of the whole person rather than just a specific diagnosis. With additional training in primary care sports medicine I can take care of your non-operative musculoskeletal issues and injuries (including concussion). Education is very important to me. A patient cannot make a good decision unless they are well-informed. Care has to include consideration of patient context and coordinating care with other providers if/when they are needed. These days those discussions often entail cost considerations as part of the pros and cons of treatment. Whats correct academically is not always feasible for a patient when you have to consider high deductible insurance plans inability to miss work etc.
