J. Michael Bennett, M.D., is a highly respected second generation orthopedic surgeon serving the greater Houston and Sugarland areas. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy. Dr. Bennett completed his sports medicine fellowship working as a team physician for multiple sports franchises including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Miami Hurricanes, Texas Southern University, and Florida International University. Dr. Bennett specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders, ligament reconstruction, as well as cartilage repair and restoration. I have full range of motion following rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Bennett and staff gave excellent care.

A wait time of over one hour is totally unacceptable and disrespect to the patient. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The nurse and PA who were not - they were abrupt and disengaged, merely going through the motions. When questioned they didn't properly listen. The doctor spent 5 minutes with me and told me I needed to go for an MRI. i want my doctor to sit sit down and show an interest in my goals and expectations from the visit. I am not sure whether to go back to this doctor.

I suffered for two years with shoulder pain (MRI showed a tear). Dr. Bennett was highly recommended by my Chiropractor as well as my Physical Therapist whose opinion I value greatly. Went to see Dr. Bennett, he was conservative and did not push surgery, however he clearly explained my options. I also found his informative videos helpful in making a decision. I had been doing PT for 6 months with no relief so opted for the shoulder arthroscopy. I just went for my 6 month visit and with a lot of h

Excellent experience. Dr. Bennett was thorough, professional, very knowledgeable, and provided outstanding care, diagnosis, and guidance. I had a fractured radial head (elbow injury from fall). With expert care from Dr. Bennett, I have made very good recovery progress. If I every need such care again, I will return to Dr. Bennett knowing that I will receive the best medical care available.
