Dr.Beckerman offers, nor gives when asked, for medically recommended preventive care instructions & or suggestions in order to prevent another cardiac attack. The more medical care required the better. Perfect health care profit making strategy to ensure at risk patients become more ill & rack up astronomical medical bills for patients & insurance companies.

More concerned with his branding and being a celebrity doctor then mundane clinical work. He can do the basics but his rep is greatly inflated. An attractive exterior and interpersonal skills hide a rather mediocre clinician. Not present, forgets basic stuff. Very blunt and directive, which is odd for someone who openly espouses being a collaborative coach with pts. Also judgy and black and white when it comes to pts struggling with weight issues. Doesn’t take the time to get to know pts.

DR Beckerman, at my very first appointment, said my problems are only pulmonary and he can't help me even though I also have AFIB and am at risk for heart failure. He said my problem was my weight, to fix it with diet and exercise. Both problems are related, and why my Pulmonogist asked me to contact him so they could work together. I have Pulmonary Hypertension & Pulmonary Fibrosis, but was told to lose weight and I need not return. ALSO to keep taking the drugs that increased the problem.
