I just had a complete thyroidectomy by Dr. Balserak, he was very professional, very through with me and his care was amazing, he called me personally the day after the surgery to check on me and also one week later to check on me asked if I had any questions or concerns answered them all very well and gave me test results. I would totally recommend him and his staff and surgery center.

Dr. Balserak is an excellent surgeon. I was very scared going in with having to have the right side of my thyroid removed. He not only sat with me and thoroughly explained what was going to happen and what to expect, but answered ALL of my questions. It was easy to communicate with him and his office. I'm very grateful for his work.

He is a good surgeon but would not return my call right after surgery and would not prescribe anything for pain because I used pain management in the past. The office lady was screaming at me while I was waking up from surgery because no one wanted to give anything for pain. I wish I could go back and choose a better doctor and surgery center. Please do research before coming to this doctor!

Dr. Balserak is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, kind, patient, understanding, and a very effective communicator. I completely trust his skill as a medical professional and wouldn't think to see anyone else.

Didn't allow time for questions. Phone calls not returned from Doctor (this could be office staff not giving the message). Never did physical exam on me prior to surgery. Unhappy with incision, though it did heal well.
