I would like to give a big thanks to Dr. Jad G Kahlil for relieving my back pain. Tried physical therapy and some pain management for several months hoping it would help but it was just a band-aid. Was very leery of Anyone! touching my back. Dr. Kahlil made me very comfortable and explained the procedure from A-Z in full. Very detailed. I had a Laminectomy & Fusion in the end of 2019 and I'm glad to say after some recovery and physical therapy the pain I felt was repaired. I would definitely recommend his SKILLS to everyone. Great doc & staff.

Dr. Khalil and his staff are very attentive until after the surgery. Then, whether it's successful or not (in their opinion ALL of them are successful), the care pretty much stops and there is no time because they need to move on to their next patient. Also, what you tell him and what he writes in his records are not the same; his surgeries are always successful no matter what you might have to say about it. Did the surgery help? Not sure right now, I am in more pain than I was before, however, I had no choice. Would someone else have done a better job of it? I will never know but I do know that if I had a choice I would not go back to him. Sorry Dr. Khalil, but responsibility does not end after you have received your payment from the insurance company and you should be truthful in your reports; that will come back to haunt you someday. I warn anyone thinking of going here to get another opinion.

Dr. Khalil found the answer. I suffered with pain down my leg for over a year. He didn't rush to surgery but rather first tried physical therapy. Unfortunately, that didn't work so a Laminectamy was the next step. When that didn't work he moved on to a full fusion. Now the pain is gone. Long recovery time but WORTH IT! Many thanks to Dr. Khalil for your caution resulting in an excellent result!

He helped me after my auto accident. I was worried that I never would feel normal again. But after a minimally invasive procedure with Dr. Khalil, I feel back to my normal self. If not better.

I may be crazy, but I came to Dr. Khalil for a THIRD opinion and I am very happy that I did. I scheduled surgery the same day. He is confident in what he does but also has a great bedside manor. I am happy that I refused to settle until I found the BEST surgeon.

I am fortunate, I have Drs in my family that can advise me on how to choose a surgeon. The metrics I was told to look at were: Education, Residency and post residency training, experience and facilities. I hit the trifecta and more. Dr Khalil has the training and experience plus fantastic office and bed side manner. I never felt rushed trough the process. Dr Khallil performed ACDF and PCDF on my neck. I am back to all of my normal activities with out any pain. I feel lucky that I found Dr. K.

I feel like I hit the lottery when I met Dr. Kahlil after I severely ruptured a disc in my back. He was SO Compassionate and interested in my well-being, something you don't experience much these days. He spent as much time as I needed explaining the kind of surgery I required and what to expect post surgery. I like his upbeat and positive attitude and the way he makes you feel VERY Important! I definitely recommend Dr. Khalil.

Do not see this Physician at Southfield location. The office fails to give him messages and the PA neglects to chart your office visit so you are at serious risk. I was urinating blood following surgery and his office failed to relay that to physician. I then went in for Post op and the PA failed to chart what was discussed which jeopardized my job and as single mom I need my job.
