Fair Lawn, NJ |
I don't know why people still go here. I went here for a year and sucked it up because I was pregnant with a Thyroid issue and didn't want to change mid pregnancy. The wait time is unheard of. One time I had an 815am apt. I finally got called in at 10am. Waiting in the room for almost 45 min, I peek my head out and I see he's just first walking in the office then! And he's not even a good doctor. Very rushed, no explanations. I go to someone else now and couldn't be happier.

You have to wait for ever! Dr. Tome will call you "Honey", ridiculous!

Unprofessional and disrespectful person I never seen in my life. Never ever will recommend him..
in Hackensack, NJ |
As I understood during my visit to De. Tohme, he had huge experience related to thyroid diagnostics. He performed FNA very fast and without any pain. When he looked at the syringe content he predicted the results and had been right. I am totally satisfied with my visit. It is not so easy to find a good doctor at the present time.
in Hoboken, NJ |
While I did have to wait a bit to see Dr. Tohme, that's usually to be expected in doctor's offices. Dr. Tohme spent just as much time with me as I waited -- which was a first for me, usually doctors rush me out in a few minutes! He spoke with and checked me out for over an hour. He was extremely kind and very thorough. In all, it was a great experience.
in Mahwah, NJ |
I used to go to Dr Tohme for years, but got sick and tired af having to sit in his office for 2+ hours just to be seen!! Patients walked out every single time I was there after waiting for hours in the waiting room! He was pleasant, but never really apologized for all the time he had me waiting! I guess he feels his patients' times are not all that valuable. I finally stopped going to him and am very happy with my current endocrinologist
Azusa, CA |
Patients routinely wait between one - two or more! hours after the scheduled appointment time. Dr. Tohme is brusque, and believes that patients are happy to wait because 'he's busy taking care of people who are dying.' His medical experience is good; his personality is not. Every time I have come in for an appointment within the last two years, one of his female office staff is in tears after being berated by him. I have changed physicians.
