Never got an appt. thanks to Tiffany & most of all Diane. Spoke to my ins. co. BCBS & they said I DON'T need a referral, which I already knew. Diane said I absolutely do. Also was told by Diane that he was not accepting new patients, yes he is ins. co. checked for me. Diane also said after I got the referral to have my records sent there, she would go over them & she would assign me a doctor. They have people in that office with cancer that are more important then me. Well I have nodules that turn into hot spots & have had radiation treatment on them, what is that considered. I have reported her & Tiffany to the Quality of Care Dept. which will go against their records. I just wonder if Dr. Snitzer knows how his patients are treated by these two. I pay dearly for my insurance (PPO never need referrals), this is a free country & I will not have a "Snit" in this office choose which doctor I will be seen by. I hope that Dr. Snitzer sees this, he was referred to me by another dr.

I've been with Dr Snitzer for about 8 years and he has helped me manage my diabetes very well. He has a nutritionist at his office and that has helped me maintain my diet. Dr. Snitzer is a soft spoken and down to earth physician who encourages rather than demands patients to accept their diabetes and to manage it. I trust him to be knowledgeable and up to date with the latest information. His staff is courteous . The only problem is it is sometimes difficult to reach staff by phone.

Even though Medicare doesn't require a referral, their office INSISTS on having one. Their insistance upon this is explained away by saying "they don't want anyone to think they are soliciting business." When I offered to drive 90 miles roundtrip to get my medical records to them, I was told "they only accept the medical records sent by the referring physician." I was on hold for 15 minutes before learning that Dr. Snitzer isnt accepting new patients. It took 3 separate phone calls to get this

My neurologist suspected I had Addison's disease. Snitzer spent 15 minutes with me and then dismissed me without hardly acknowledging my presents. He then told my I was Malingering. Because of this it was 8 more years before I was diagnosed with, guess what, Addison's disease. The ATCH stimulation test, when i finally got it, showed I had NO adrenal function left. One of the worse doctors ever, and I am a DENTIST!

I called to schedule an initial appointment and was VERY rudely told by the receptionist that I wouldn't ever be seen without a referral. I've NEVER needed a referral to go to an endocrinologist. What gives? I wouldn't even ask for a referral from my primary doctor to see this doctor based on that one telephone call. It told me all I need to know.
