Terrible on 2 occasions never to go back. He's rude and lectures. Never thought I was going to see him yesterday. Did not know he was at Rex.

I saw Dr Lam today and he was AWESOME... He was very personable and reassuring.. He took his time with me, I had some reservations about my procedure.. Not once did I feel rushed or anything.. He was booked with a full schedule but still made sure he attended to me and cared about my wellbeing.. I would recommend him to others if needed.. He’s great at what he does!

I would not recommend him to my dog. He acts like irretically in the operation room and becomes friendly afterward. I definitely say that he does not have bed manner. There is something wrong with this doctor.

As a pain management doctor--erratic treatment plans, petulant, very unpleasant person. As an anesthesiologist, he might be good when his patients are unconscious. He gets frustrated/irritated when his pain management "plan" isn't working. Seems like mainly what he wants to get in and out as fast as possible. Seems like he really doesn't like doing pain management. Office policy requires arrival 30 minutes before appointment time. Then appointments run 20-30 minutes late.

Dr Lam seemed fine before lumbar nerve block.During the procedure, I developed bad pain in my thigh. In recovery, the pain increased dramatically and very high bp. He ignored my explaining that this started during the proced, pulled my leg and said I have something wrong with my hip and to get xrays. He said he would only give me toradol shot, steroids. Totally blew me and my husband off. Lost use of my leg when I got home ended up in ER doc questioning why I was released in the shape I was in.

I was not treated like a person in pain that needed help. He told me that I failed my last drug test. He stated that there was no morphine or oxycodone in my system. I ran out of my meds the day before is the only reason that they would not be there. I told him about my depression from then on it seemed that he thought my pain was all in my head. I admit part of my depression is pain related, but my pain is NOT depression related. I do have other issues affecting my depression.
