On Thursday I found out I need a triple bypass. Dr. Toole came into my room that day and explained to my wife and I the details of the surgery. Most importantly, he answered all our questions. At 7:15 AM, on Friday I was in the operating room and the surgery took about two hours. My wife received several phone calls during and after surgery from the nurses and Dr. Toole. The nursing staff and Dr. Toole provided excellent care before, during and after my surgery. Now, I can work hard in rehab and get back to playing Pickleball and Golf. Thank you so much. Saw Dr. Toole yesterday for an aortic aneurysm to see if it was any larger than last year, discussed options, plan of attack, complications of surgery vs doing nothing. He spent as much time with me as necessary, answered all my questions. Very good communicator.

I first met Dr. Toole after a heart Cat was performed at Roper Hospital. He came to my room and told me about my options and what the outcomes would be. I was in shock in the hospital as all of this happened very fast. But Dr. Toole calmed my concerns and eased my mind of worry. The following morning I had a CABG times 4. I was very impressed how I felt after such a surgery. I wanted to get out of bed within hours of the surgery. Dr. Toole and his PA have the best bed side manner and answered every question and I would very much recommend him to anyone. I had surgery on a Friday morning and was discharged on Monday afternoon. I feel that Dr. Toole is a very good surgeon.

I found out I needed a double bypass. It was scheduled for the next morning. I met Dr Toole for the first time that afternoon he answered all my question. I was in the operating room before 8:00, while he was operating he found a third artery that neeed a bypass. Everything was accomplished & I was back in ICU before noon, I’ve had oil changes that took longer. I was moved to a regular room the next day and went home 48 hrs later. I have had no complications & minimal pain he & his team are t

As a retired ICU nurse, I have seen many different attitudes with patients & their families. He is truly a professional in all aspects of his care. Thank you. Judy Parsons, Charleston, S.C.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Toole and I can honesty say I am so grateful he is the surgeon I was referred to. From my initial phone call to his office to my meeting with him today has been a pure delight. Dr. Toole's staff is AMAZING, responsive and genuinely care about their patients. Aside from Dr. Toole being knowledgeable and a master at his craft, he is approachable, he did not make e feel as though I was asking too many questions (and I did). I Highly recommend Dr. Toole.
