Dr. Wharton is excellent at what he does. He explained my condition and how ablation would help. I had an excellent experience with the procedure and already feeling better a week after and know I will feel even better after the scarring has formed 6 weeks after. Looking forward to getting off my Amiodarone medication too.

Dr. Wharton performed my first ablation around 2005. Thanks to him I had 11 years problem free. Once again having some issues and plan to once again seek his help. He is an excellent physician and a wonderful person as well. He cares about his patients.

I was referred to Dr. Wharton by my family doctor. I was immediately put at ease by his knowledge of my condition. He was very thorough in his explanations of what to expect if I chose to have ablation surgery as well as other options. He completely explained how the heart works and what my heart was doing. I chose the ablation and felt at peace the moment I entered MUSC. He is an outstanding doctor and I can not say enough about his professionalism and ease of understanding.
