Dr Tarkin is by far the best Orthopaedic Surgeon that I have ever met and was very fortunate for him to do my surgery and literally save my leg. I was a pedestrian struck by a vehicle and when I hit the ground my bones broke out my skin and onto the road, I had surgery back in November by Dr Tarkin and then he had to do a bone graph kast month. This Dr mor only is an amazingsurgeon but has a very kind heart, communicates with his patients. There is not one complaint that I can even think of about ththiththis man, when I tell you he is the best, that is exactly what I meam, you can tell this Doctor enjoys and loves his jobs based off of how.mich he cares about his patients and his phenomenal orthopaedic surgery that he does, if you ever need an orthopaedic surgeon, no matter the time nor distance you really need to have Dr. Ivan Tarkin!

I was in a car-pedestrisn accident while in Pittsburgh on business. I was taken to UPMC Mercy ER with pelvic fractures and a compound fracture of the right leg, and was lucky enough to get Dr. Tarkin as my surgeon. The surgery was extremely successful and I'm recovering very well. Dr. Tarkin is the BEST!

I came to Presby ER with a broken knee requiring complicated surgery to rebuild the tibia, involving cadaver bone and a metal plate, local hospital would not touch it. He performed surgery, I went home in 3 days with crutches, putting no weight on my leg. After 7 weeks I was walking normally w full range of motion. My P T dismissed me after 2 sessions, saying it was the best knee surgery he had seen. I have no restrictions. Dr. Tarkin does brilliant work, is thorough and professional.
