i was sent to doctor tarkin when no surgeon at excela health greensburg wanted to fix my broken femur. After 9 hours in the er there they asked if i wanted to go to pittsburgh. I was sent to Presbey got thereat 2:30 a.m. Was met by one of doctor tarkins interns and at 8 o'clock a.m was on the table for surgery. I can not thank Doctor Tarkin and his great staff enough. They are truely the best.

I was in a car-pedestrisn accident while in Pittsburgh on business. I was taken to UPMC Mercy ER with pelvic fractures and a compound fracture of the right leg, and was lucky enough to get Dr. Tarkin as my surgeon. The surgery was extremely successful and I'm recovering very well. Dr. Tarkin is the BEST!

Simply put, the guy is amazing. He put many broken bones all back together in my foot. I can run, something I would have never thought possible! This man rocks and he's a nice guy too.
in Butler, PA |
I had a severe elbow injury which included two surgeries. He is a truly amazing doctor. He is so knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him very highly.
Clarion, PA |
I came to Presby ER with a broken knee requiring complicated surgery to rebuild the tibia, involving cadaver bone and a metal plate, local hospital would not touch it. He performed surgery, I went home in 3 days with crutches, putting no weight on my leg. After 7 weeks I was walking normally w full range of motion. My P T dismissed me after 2 sessions, saying it was the best knee surgery he had seen. I have no restrictions. Dr. Tarkin does brilliant work, is thorough and professional.
