Wellness Family Medicine believes in the potential to prevent many of the illnesses that Americans experience through lifestyle adjustments, dietary changes, exercise and nutritional supplementation. Part of the practice's philosophy is to empower the patient by providing reliable information about prevention issues and primary care.
I am Board Certified in Occupational & Environmental Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Medical Toxicology, and I am on staff at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Currently, I hold a adjunct clinical professorship at Via Osteopathic Medical School. I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and following college I taught high school science for two years in Kenya with the Baptist Church. My has special interests are in exposure-disease relationships, cancer prevention, and low level toxin exposure issues. I use information technology to educate and communicate with patients.
