Wouldn't Go Back
I went there seeking help and the appointment that was had was odd to me. It kept feeling like she thought I was trying to pick a fight with her or like she was trying to fight me. I was just there to get help after following instructions from my primary medical care place to go see a derm. I felt like not only did she not take me seriously, but also like for some weird reason she kept trying to prove herself to me and challenge me..as if I was questioning it to begin with. I really wish I did NOT have to pay my bill there. I haven't used what they prescribed me, and I did not leave there feeling like I had the answers I needed. As a low-income Black person who was seeking medical care, I really wish I could get my money back, and I wish she did not speak to me that way. Or even look at me that way.

I have been a current patient with Dr. MIsra-Higgins for over 10 years. I developed a rash or possibly hives with itching two days prior all over my face. Since the rash and itching had not cleared, I called at 1 p.m. two days ago to schedule a zoom or FaceTime appointment with the physician. I was informed by her staff that she would be able to have a call with me within the hour as she only had 2 patients left to see that day. At 4:30 p.m. I still had not heard from her. I called and left a message on the voicemail of the office, which clearly informed me that the office was now closed. I did not hear the next day from the office or Dr. MIsra-Higgins. Long story short, she did not follow up. I am not a new patient that should need to wait days to see the physician or should basically be ignored for an issue. I would not recommend this Dermatologist simply based on service. This is not the first time, this has occurred in the last ten years. Both my spouse and I are medica

I have called the office twice to speak with Dr. Misra-Higgins about lab work that I'm very concerned/worried about. Both times I have been told that she has the message and will return my call. As of today, which is a couple days since my last call and 4 days since my first call.....my call has not returned. Very disappointed.

My family has been going to see Dr. Misra-Higgins for about 15 years now. She has treated my daughter for persistent acne and has treated me for skin cancer, and both of these were completely healed with her help. She is incredibly friendly and takes the time to develop a personal relationship with her patients. Her entire staff is also very kind and welcoming.

Dr. Misra Higgins routinely overbooks her patients and keeps them waiting 2+ hours past their scheduled appointment time. She also did a very botched botox job. I look like I had a stroke. She caused extreme droop in my right eye and I cannot explain how upsetting it is. I am shocked and taken aback at the terrible work she did as well as her terrible patient care and service. I used to really like her years ago but I'm afraid greed has gotten the best of her. This dr. is to be avoided.
