Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Dr. Posner says...

The focus of my work is healing, not only physical and mental, but also spiritual and emotional, so that one can grow and reach their full potential. I work with clients of all age ranges. I do my best work with clients who are motivated to get better and are open, communicating their difficulties and symptoms as they experience them.

As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, I am uniquely qualified in using a biopsychosocial formulation to observe and evaluate all of the factors that may be affecting someone while also being aware of any medical problems that could be present and not yet diagnosed.

I offer evening appointments.I prefer to take a holistic approach, stressing the importance of diet and exercise in one's well-being while also using vitamins and supplements to complement the use of more traditional psychiatric medication. Balance is essential in treatment and in one's life.
