He spent 5-10 minutes with me and acted as if in a huge hurry. During that time, cut me off and did not let me explain circumstances of injury, recurring pain/issues, or my concerns. Did not touch/examine injury site. Insisted on giving injection without explaining the diagnosis, treatment, expected outcome, side--effects, or follow up plan, but led me to believe I could not have any further care without one, was made to consent in a split second. Was overall dismissive, abrupt, condescending.

Dr Voloshin performed surgery for rotator cuff on me last year. He was fantastic! Answered all questions I had. If you are looking for a friend to have a long conversation with he probably isn't your guy. His job is to repair your injury or chronic health problem.

I saw Dr. Voloshin for a second opinion on a baffling shoulder problem that has been going on for months. He was arrogant, rude, and belittling. He told me I needed to "suck it up" and only come back if I felt like I was going to "jump off a bridge". Completely unprofessional. I have never been treated so poorly by a medical professional.

Dr Voloshin is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He repaired my torn rotator cuff by arthroscope and a torn bicep tendon open repair at the same time from a fall that I had. His staff is excellent and the PA was also excellent. With his repair and my fantastic URMC physical therapist Maria R. , I have full function of my shoulder. It was a long haul - which I was told it would be upfront-but certainly worth it! I would highly recommend Dr Voloshin.

i had shoulder surgery by Dr Voloshin 9 years ago, treatments for both knees in the last 5 years and now have seen Dr Voloshin recently to plan surgery for other shoulder. I appreciate that even as a surgeon, he gives alternatives to surgery and processes with me to plan for the best treatment. I believe he wants the very best care for his patients and is proud of his surgical accomplishments. There are some visits where he may not have a lot to say- but his surgical skills are outstanding.

I had tendon surgery on my right arm in 2008, haven't had a single issue in 8 years. I would highly recommend Dr, Voloshin, I'm scheduled for another consult on my shoulder and would think of going elsewhere. The doctor and his staff are highly professional and personable

Dr. V came highly recommended by my doctor. It looks like people only log this sight if they had a problem. I think there is a slight cultural barrier with this Russian doctor. His speech and mannerisms are similar to the villains in movies. I would not avoid a highly skilled surgeon over his manors. You will be sleeping when he does his work! I am in perfect condition now.

Had a 4 minute appointment during which I complained about pain and weakness after the operation. He said, and I quote, Everybody has problems. In his report he stated that I was fine and he would not administer pain relievers. Shortly after that appointment, I had another operation by a different doctor to fix the same problem I had to begin with. Never would have found out about his report unless I had a good workers comp lawyer.

I couldn't tell you anything about Dr. Voloshin. I called on a Monday morning to try to schedule a new appointment as a second opinion, only to have Jodi tell me to fax over info from my doctor and they'd call me back when they'd received it. Cue a week of no one getting back to me, my previous doctor's office faxing records over to this office 3 different times, and a staff member telling me that she wouldn't call me back if they couldn't find medical records. WHAT A JOKE.

Acted like treating my condition was the LAST thing he wanted to be doing. I saw him twice and he acted the same way both times. Did not take time to listen to me or answer my questions.
