I have no idea what sort of a fly by night operation he runs, but literally no one in his office speaks/understands English, they never respond to any attempts at contacting them, overall this is a very sorry example of a pseudo practice. His PA is wonderful, but in general the place is just utterly horrid.

After 2 visits with a PA a week apart, submitting medical records, drug test, and verifying my prescription with my previous pharmacy I was told that Dr. Rasul does not believe in my condition. I was told that I could pay 2 more copays to have a test conducted but ultimately no matter what the result of the test was I would not be able to receive medication that I have been taking for over a decade. What’s even stranger is that the PA called me on their own time to tell me this, and acted like he was doing me a favor by wasting my time and causing me to run out of medication.

Dr Rasul does a great job but the Piedmont Behavioral Services practice is garbage. He really needs to find a new organization to work with. Their office staff is virtually nonexistent and the billing is a total nightmare. Their office mismanaged my billing for nearly 3 years and then demanded an immediate payment. They are rude and refuse to work with patients to resolve anything like this even when it’s their error. The insurance company found inconsistencies in billing and now wants to investigate. The best I can recommend is to stay away from this practice and hope Dr Rasul finds a new place to work.

The healthcare I received from Dr. Rasul and the clinic was good, however billing and communications was a nightmare. Dr. Rasul lapsed his contract with my insurance over a year ago (making them out of network) and did not notify me, and simply stopped filing claims with my insurance. They charged my card automatically without providing itemized receipts, so I can't file the claims myself either. Ultimately they charged me for $900 of care that should have been covered by insurance. Further, they do not answer the phone nor return emails about billing, I had to figure out what happened by spending hours on the phone with my insurance company (who also could not get in contact with them). Their website still says they accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, which Blue Cross tells me is not accurate. I am low income and will have trouble paying for healthcare going forward, if they had told me they had gone out of network I'd have found a new provider, and have $900 I don't have now.

Exorbitant charges for 10 minutes of screen time with an assistant that would not listen to my explanation of my problem, which I had been having treated successfully for a number of years. They sure were happy to take my money though.

Definitely do not step foot in this place. Their lack of care could cost you your life. Call center is remote and they do not speak English. I requested to speak Dr Rasul and he was never able and I was always fobbed off to the PA. Dr would not prescribe the meds I have taken to keep me stable for over 20 years. They messed with different drugs to avoid prescribing what I really needed and the result was that I became really sick. I had to seek medical attention at an alternative practice

I looked for about half of my life to find a psychiatrist with the knowledge, intellectual and emotional capacity that Dr. Ijaz Rasul possesses. He listens to me and sees me as a person instead of just a list of symptoms to be medicated away. Amy Kline provides an outstanding compliment to Dr. Rasul. If you could describe someone as loving and professional, that would be Amy Kline. I've been going to this practice for about three years now, and I feel lucky to have found it.

The Doctor was very professional and I felt better when I left. I Read a review that someone said they treat people like trash. That is absolutely wrong. The doctor doesn’t like to shake hands it’s a cultural thing so don’t be offended by it. So far, so good! they have amazing Telepsychiatry Services which is so convient

“Dr Rasul, did a great job of listening intently to me first before putting together a comprehensive treatment plan that not only includes medication but counseling as well. I appreciated his staff including his office manager that is very friendly and professional. Over all I felt like I was in great hands.
