Board certification should be one of your top considerations when choosing a doctor. Board certification is an official recognition given to doctors who have met specific requirements set by national medical specialty boards in the United States.
Board certification indicates that a doctor is highly qualified in the medical field in which he or she practices. A board-certified doctor is more likely than a non-board-certified doctor to have the most current skills and knowledge about how to treat your medical condition.
Provision of cardiovascular care is inefficient and expensive. Most patients require multiple visits to doctors, hospitals and outpatient diagnostic centers to obtain diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular disease (e.g.. you. schedule to see a doctor today, have an echo tomorrow, and a nuclear test the next day). This leads to increased cost, multiple visits and lost work time and inconvenience, as well as inefficient care and sometimes, isuboptimal outcomes.
The HeartLife Center changes all that, and offers the people of Louisville and Kentucky a comprehensive approach to all noninvasive treatment and invasive therapies for a variety of cardiovascular disorders. including pharmacologic and interventional therapy, preventive therapy, noninvasive screening and both, noninvasive and invasive diagnostic testing, as well as all available state of the art interventions, including, angioplasty and stenting, catheter ablation of arrhythmias, pacemaker and implantable defibrillator insertion and follow-up, heart failure diagnosis and therapy, that is delivered in one place.
Patients can simply walk in off the street and consult with a specialist cardiologist who is available to perform a comprehensive evaluation, ancillary tests such as Echo cardiogram, electrocardiogram, blood testing, stress testing, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, tilt table testing, outpatient ECG monitoring, nuclear imaging or CT angiography, or other appropriate diagnostic testing. By the time that the patient leaves the HeartLife Canter, in most instances, the diagnosis and the treatment course can be established.
The patient has peace of mind that the problem is being addressed, without having to go to additional testing elsewhere, saving time, hassle and additional costs
All procedures are performed by a highly qualified Board Certified Cardiologist with over 35 years of unblemished experience and track record of success.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

Doctor - patient relationship is the centerpiece of a medical practice. The most fundamental part of that process if ability of the physician to diagnose, treat the patient with expertise, empathy and understanding.
A global, unified approach to diagnosis is fundamental to success. Mutual trust must exist between the patient and the doctor, and this relationship should not be breached by any external interference, regulation or a fiat.
Patient confidentiality must be respected at all times, and patient's dignity respected.
