As a neurosurgeon who cares for both brain and spinal problems, I feel that I have a unique perspective on many neurosurgical issues. Importantly, my experience with microsurgery of delicate vascular lesions both informs and enhances my ability to deal delicately and dexterously with the spinal cord and spinal nerves. As a disclaimer, I will say that my clinic does not always run on time. I see patients from several different states in the region, and many have extremely complex problems that require a long period of focused attention. I would rather run behind in my clinic than give a patient less time than he/she deserves in the assessment and planning related to their spinal condition.
