Dr. Brock's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Brock "Dr. Hugh Brock is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in total joint replacement. He joined the practice in June 2015 and practices primarily out of New Mexico Orthopedics' west side clinic. He chose a career in orthopedics because of his love for science and the fulfilling purpose of healing people through the field of medicine. Dr. Brock chose orthopedics because of the many musculoskeletal ailments that can be treated successfully with surgery. Specifically, Dr. Brock specialized in arthroplasty because of the dramatic improvement joint replacements can make in people's lives. Dr. Brock does his best to make a clear diagnosis and discuss all treatment options of care with his patients. Then, both physician and patient can make an informed, joint decision on what path to follow and work together to make every effort in optimizing a positive treatment outcome. In his spare time, Dr. Brock enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with his wife and three children."

Dr. Brock did an excellent job with my 15 year old son who broke his hand. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and made sure my son understand everything too! Thank you, Dr. Brock

I'm sure Dr. Brock is an excellent and dedicated surgeon but if you are not quite at the point of surgery, you should look elsewhere for a practice that has more attention to detail especially in insurance requests, better communication for both staff and doctor and an office that actively uses and...more

Worst!!! He had no interest in hearing my symptoms just was focused on sending me to another physician/surgeon. The MRI he said he would request was denied because he did not provide enough details to the insurance provider. When I tried to contact him or his staff they would not return my calls....more
