If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to doctor Sherman and he made an off color remark laughingly belittling doctors that come to this country from other countries. His treatment did not work for me and after many tries at getting the correct medication, I gave up. His staff is also awful. They are a tight knit group and cover each other when they make mistakes or are unnecessarily rude and condescending to their clients. Avoid this office at all costs.

Dr. Sherman was not prepared for visits (i.e. sent pt. to UVA for 2nd opinion and MRI, at follow up visit he had not reviewed the MRI and was confused why the pt. was there. Next follow up visit he still had not reviewed the MRI). He was indifferent, unhelpful, and offered no suggestions or treatment options. The last MRI showed spots (2 going to 3) in the grey matter and with obvious and severe deterioration of the pt.'s symptoms offered no medical expertise or treatment options.

Dr. Sherman is friendly upbeat and thorough. He communicates, well, listens, and gives his evaluation clearly. I was referred by my excellent primary care physician. Dr Sherman changed my MS medication with great results. I trust him.

Absolutely excellent neurologist. Both clinically knowledgable and caring. We are lucky to have him in the valley.
