I began seeing Dr Hessan when he took over the practice from Dr Hammond many years ago. When I explained that my tinnitus had become worse he gave a half laugh and proceeded to explain that tinnitus doesn't get worse because one you have it you just have it. Having been plagued with ear troubles my whole life and done considerable study I knew this was a quack answer. His only saving grace is that he is a good surgeon. Bedside manner leaves so much to be desired. Prepare to be made fun of if your descriptions or symptoms fail to match a textbook he studied. Even when you prove yourself right he marginalizes it by giving a "meh" nod and continues with what he was saying.

Dr. Hessan is my son's ENT and placed his ear tubes in 2017. He's so attentive, thorough, and communicates so well. When we go see him he acts like my son is his only patient. He even has a scribe to take notes for him so he can focus on the patient. He's intelligent and has amazing bedside manner!
