Poor patient care
Promised when I saw him for surgery follow-up that if my infection continued I could call in and he would provide a prescription to treat it; called office 3 times; told me to make another $500 appointment or go to urgent care

Dr. Patel spent time explaining my procedure in March 2021. I felt like he really cared for what I was experiencing health wise and shared my concerns. I have the highest regard for him and wish there were more physicians like him.

Dr. Patel literally saved my life. I had severe trouble with my stomach one evening and a series of emergency room tests revealed I had gastric volvulus, a bizarre and sudden condition in which my stomach flipped then came up through a hiatal hernia. Dr. Patel was called in and did laparoscopic surgery to pull my stomach back into place and anchor it. Two months later, using the Da Vinci Robot, he did a more extensive surgery and closed the hernia. He explained everything and focused on what my recovery involved. Best doctor I've ever had.

Dr. Patel performed a laparoscopic appendectomy on my daughter. He was very kind, professional and patient in answering our questions. When we had additional questions once we were home after her surgery, it was easy to contact his office and get the answers. We were very happy with his care!

Dr. Patel performed a robotic surgery to repair a hernia the first of Nov. 2018. Prior to surgery I had the pleasure of meeting him in his office for a consult. What a wonderful gentle man as well as a great surgeon. He was super attentive, answering my questions on my sheet one by one on my initial consult. My surgery got delayed and he was more than pleasant, checking on me before hand and coming to my room the next day before discharge. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel without hesitation.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Patel. He is such a phenomenal doctor. He did my Hernia Repair and this year a Pilonidal cyst removal and he did a GREAT job. He was so patient and helpful during my recovery period. Whenever I needed to get in right away for an issue I was always seen promptly with no hesitation. He explains everything so clearly for you to understand. His nurses and staff are very pleasant ladies. Sarah Marcela and Yolanda YOU ladies are AWESOME, super sweet individuals.

Dr. Patel goes above and beyond to explain every last detail to his patients. I understand why there can sometimes be a wait! I saw him at the Annandale location. The office is very clean, the front desk girl and medical assistant are both very kind and professional. He has a wonderful bedside manner. If I ever need surgery in the near future, I will definitely come back to see him. I recommend him to every person I know that needs surgery.
