Taking Dr. Prost is like calling a first level help desk. He has his script and that's what your going to hear. I have an Extremely high metabolism. That does not matter. 1800 calories (I normally intake 3000-5000 a day) and take the medformin. After dropping from 195 to 180 in two weeks (I'm 6 foot) I called in no response. So I went to another Doctor. The new Doctor prescribed Victoza and that has made a world of difference Before I was 210-250 when I woke up. Now its 85-110.

Just to sum up my Diabetes experience which has pieces of all the other reviews. #1) Dr. Prost will write you a script for Diabetes medicine and will then refer you to his PA for follow-up. #2) He is very accomplished, but at this stage in his career it feels as if he is just "mailing it in". I had to reschedule an appointment and then was scolded about not taking my diabetes seriously. #3) Wait Time can vary considerably. Not a big issue unless you are trying to get back to work...

PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I feel sorry for Dr. Prost. I called to just make an appointment to see him, just an appointment right. I was on hold for 15 mins and it made me leave a message. So I called back and got MARY, who happens to be the most rude person I have ever spoken to when trying to just get an appt. Lynn the manager was rude. I informed my dr that referred me hopefully they never send any more patients to this place.

I don't understand the bad reviews, Dr Prost is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He so kind and spends so much time explaining everything. The office staff is great too!
Waste of my time and money. First, the majority of the staff was always rude. The only nice ones I encountered was the lady who drew my blood & the check out lady after the appointment. Second, Dr. Prost is very arrogant & shows no compassion. He didn't listen to my symptoms or family history. At my next appointment, I met with the PA who was also very rude & didn't listen to anything I said. They all ignored abnormal lab results, symptoms, & family history. Do your research & find a better dr.

Unfriendly staff made me not want to come back.
Keller, TX |
No one in this office knows how to use a phone and couldn't care less about their patients. Horrible place to go for care.
in North Richland Hills, TX |
I seen the Doctor on the first visit and he led me believe he would handle treatment a certain way. Second appointment and I see his assistant or PA instead of him, which I had no clue would happen. I would not have made that appointment. Then the PA does not want to do the treatment. She wouldn't listen, she talked over me and made me feel of little importance. She explained things in a manner that common sense unexplained. So disappointed, I know the doctor seen the issue. Off to the next!
Euless, TX |
He is very arrogant but could not help me. His only option is medication for the rest of my life.
in Bedford, TX |
Probably is a well-qualified doctor but I was not impressed with his office nor their practice of bouncing patients between the physician and their PA. The office messed up on the billing a couple of times. Very hard to reach them over the phone. No way to email them or use other forms of communication. Frustrating experience overall.
in Ft Worth, TX |
I really like the doctor. He listens to me, works with me and provides excellent care.
in GRAPEVINE |
Most of the time, my husband was managed by a PA. When I was not satisfied with her recommendation on prednisone tapering, i called twice to talk to PA for questions which were not satisfactorily answered, a secretary called instead of PA and just pasded on the reply. Confused, I requested for an appointment with Dr prost. Front desk paased request to office manager. After so much weird interrogations, I just gave up. Looking for another endocrinologist.
