Dr. Marano has been my orthopedist for 15 years or more. He is one of those doctors that makes you feel as though you shouldn't get upset, that things aren't so bad, and that he has seen it all before. I have a terrible right knee that he has operated on twice (to remove detritus) all in the hopes that I won't need a knee replacement. He gives me a Synvisc (sp?) injection every six months and that helps a lot, too. So far I have still have my own (terrible) knee.

Not that most orthopedics have the best bedside but bedside but this one should consider taking the how to make friends course. You want a good construction man not a friend. Had a pilon fracture several years ago with external fixator (exploded upper ankle). Night after surgery under heavy meds got out of hospital bed and collapsed. After Dr Maranos review of x-rays he told me with some apparent trepidation well its still within acceptable parameter's so I'm not going back in! To him!

Dr. Marano is very professional and knowledgable. I felt very comfortable relying on his expertise.
