This was the most bizarre medical professional visit I have ever had. Dr. Kearse didn't ask me any questions about why we were there or medical history. He simply started looking and telling his assistant prescriptions he wanted to give my son. I was shocked and had to interrupt to tell him my sons medical history and that what he was going to prescribe would be very dangerous for him. Before I finished my sentence he interrupted me to tell his assistant another course of action. So bizarre

Totally professional.

I have been a patient of his for 4-5years now and I would recommend him to anyone! He's straight forward and all about seeing the best results for the better of his patients.
Summerville, SC |
Not kid friendly. Does not listen to concerns or wishes of parents or patient. He seems to be afraid to treat children. I would never recommend him to any family members or friends. Very negative experience. He did not live up to my expectations of an MUSC provider.

Dr. Kearse is very knowledgeable and did a great job diagnosing my condition.
Charlotte, NC |
Dr. Kearse has been reviewed as not having a great "bedside manor". Well, he's not a food server or flight attendant. He's an expert at what he does. That said, I have found him to be very polite and cordial. He cleared my daughter's condition when half a dozen other doctors could not. We fought her issues for more than a year until we saw Dr. Kearse. By following his instructions, my daughter's condition improved within a week. I don't care about small talk...I care about results.

Dr. Kearse probably won't win any charm competitions, but he knows his stuff. He treats me, my husband, and my father in law for a variety of conditions from chronic to sun-damage to the simply bothersome. He is quick to explain what is dangerous and what is cosmetic, and then follows up with options. He's a gruff old soul, but I trust him with my face and my family.
High Point, NC |
This doctor and his nurse do not care about their patients. The nurse actually argued with me about the condition of my face, and the doctor incorrectly diagnosed me with hereditary hair loss then told me he didn't say that when it grew back 6 months later. He then walked out of the room while I was still speaking to him about a concern. Don't waste your time with this man!

Dr. Kearse was fantastic to deal with. He was quick, effective, and very nice. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Well I got oh you have market place insurance, we don't take that insurance and we cant even allow you to pay cash.
Waste of time. Spent less then 5 minutes, didn't explain my son's condition, wrote a scripT and said call if it gets worse
