I had my knee replaced by Dr. Biggs and the entire experience was horrific. When I woke from the surgery, I had a bruise that went half way around my leg from my thigh down to my ankle. A logical reason was never given to me as to why this had happened. I've had a number of surgeries and never had a bruise on me. You won't be able to get through to the office as they have the answering machines on until around 12 PM. I was very sick from the pain medication and need to be seen by a doctor. The nurse finally called me back at 2:00 PM and told me no one could see me. She wanted to know the problem but never rectified the medication issue. Don't waste your time with the nurse. The physical therapy was a hardcore push to use Biggs' facility and I was talked out of having the home care for two weeks. The facility is terrible-- I could have done a better job myself. You won't have electric stimulation nor will they message your muscles. Bigg's facility basically does nothing.

Had double TKR April 22nd. Within 12 weeks I was riding my bike 19 miles every other day around Conesus Lake in New York State. Also playing doubles tennis and winning. I had no pain after 2 weeks. I'm very pleased at the results. Great Doctor.

His personality and office are great. His surgical support staff were wonderful. However I had a partial knee replacement almost a year ago and I am in worse pain than before the surgery. Two visits to his PA resulted in "the implant looks great" and no other help. Oh, well a pill. Which shouldn't have been prescribed since I was on Celebrex. I have no idea what the problem is as they don't seem to care beyond what THEY did. Won't go back.

Billy King in Naples, FL – Dec 28, 2017
I had a knee replacement by Dr. Biggs. Pain was worse than other knee replacement. Pain was gone at 4th month after surgery. At 8 months it returned. I asked for another appt. Pain so bad I needed to use a cane again. I had to wait 3 weeks to see a PA. He said it was a soft tissue problem. I should take a pill for a month. Knee no better. I called for another. Another 3 month wait. I got a call 4 days before the appt. He had to go out of town. They couldn't get me another appt for 3 weeks.

Dr. Biggs is the most caring , compassionate doctor with the best bedside manner which is very important to a surgical pt. I had a TKR in 11/2015 and had a choice of going to NYHSS and I decided Dr. Biggs was far the better choice. My surgery went well as I expected, I already recommended to others and they were just as pleased. His surgical skills are exceptional. If your looking for a very knowledgeable doctor with great skills you will find it in DR. Biggs. P.A. Will is also exceptional.

I had replacement surgery in November of 2016. Dr. Biggs operated quickly and so I had minimal tissue damage. I was walking well the day after surgery. Surgery was 6 months ago and I am doing great. What an improvement over my old self. I am no longer limping and swinging my leg out as I walk. I am doing yoga and zumba without pain, just a little soreness. Dr. Biggs is an affable man who really cares about his patients. His PA Will is personable and competent.

Had total hip replacement performed December 7, 2015. Was released the next day without a walker or a cane. Two days after surgery, I was walking 1/2 mile. Started physical therapy within a week and proceeding greatly. I would recommend Dr. Biggs to anyone who needs knee or hip surgery.
