I did not have a pleasant experience with Dr. Kim. I would not recommend going to her if you are trying to diagnosis an issue. She was dismissive of my questions and I left her office feeling worse than when I had gone in. And I did have to go to another doctor to get my concerns addressed. She may be better if you know you need surgery but I did not have a good experience.

Dr. Kim is excellent at diagnosing and recommending permanent repair procedures for multiple hernia matters. She utilized biologically engineered pig tissue fashioned into a large sheet to cover all of the hernia areas of my abdomen, which had kept tearing after every attempt by other doctors to cover them with traditional mesh. I have been able to perform virtually any strength task the rest of my body can handle, all without a single problem. I highly recommend Dr. Kim for hernia issues.

Very easy to talk to and incredibly nice! She saw me quickly as I needed an urgent appointment, and was very accommodating when I had to bring my toddler with me. Explained the surgery, possible complications and recovery very well. Most importantly, she didn't rush! she took her time to draw a diagram and talk everything through with me!

Simply rude! That's the best description. I don't care how great someone's surgical skills are if she cannot make a sincere effort to understand me as a whole patient. I will not return to her. My girlfriend, who is black (I'm white) had a similar experience. I don't think she is racist, I just think she is mean and belittling to others. I wonder if this is how she treats her husband and children?
