Chattanooga, TN |
Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, when you finally get to see her. Waits times in excess of 45 minutes. Last visit, my appt. was at 10:15 AM. At 11:30 AM still had not seen the MD so left the office to return to work. Nurse who escorted me to the exam room saw me walk out and did not acknowledge me. No updates or apologies from any staff. No follow up communication. At least I was refunded my copay.

Dr. Furr jumped to conclusions too fast without having all of the information. The nurse/nurses who handle her calls are completely incompetent and they do not take messages very well. I had a question for Dr. Furr and instead of her helping me, she was just too busy, and didn't give me the time of day. If you are looking for a long term doctor, I could not recommend Dr. Furr. I felt belittled, less than because of how I was treated by her and her staff. I don't have any respect for her.
in Chattanooga, TN |
Dr. Furr seemed to care and listen, but when I was faced with many different ailments going on, between her and her staff, they were very condescending. I think that Dr. Furr would be better served with better nurses who handle her patients' calls and communicates them to her. Many times, what I said to the nurses, were different than what they communicated to her. Unfortunately, I saw a different and unfriendly side of Dr. Furr, when she took what the nurse's said over what I had said.
