Dr. Prather was brought in by my Orthopedic Surgeon on an emergency consultation when symptoms presented for him that he wanted her involvement on, immediately. I will forever be grateful for him getting her in within 30 minutes. She confirmed his diagnosis and set a treatment plan in motion that instant. In the beginning, April 2019, the communication via MyChart was a lengthy process and frustrating. However, by June 2019 that changed and the communication and ability to contact her staff has been great. She listens, validates my concerns and will push for things that are important and feels I should try. She has a great reputation and has put me in contact with the specialists I need for my chronic nerve disease. When I presented her with what I thought could be a ridiculous request in regards to the current temperature checks due to Covid19. She said it wasn't and took care of it instantly. It was helpful within a week. I highly recommend her.

Very caring and through, both listens and explains well. Formulated a clear plan, asked if I agreed and then if she had “missed anything”.

Very hard to get an appointment. When I finally went to my appointment, I waited in the waiting room for 2 hrs. (the doctor had overslept) After the appointment, follow-up communications took way too long (weeks even). You can't call and talk to anyone in her office, have to leave a message, and pray they return it within the month. If you have a condition that is chronic, I would not recommend this doctor because treatment will take months. In the meantime, you might have to live with your pain

Dr. Prather did not fully provide options, simply said here's what we're going to do in our very brief visit. The staff at Dr. Prather's has terrible attention to detail, calling me after injections to ask me how my neck was when my neck was never the issue! Communication is clearly bad within the office as, on my second visit, Dr. Prather did not have the information I provided her nurse on the phone. This is what they describe as a "high volume" practice. I call it bad medicine.

Appt. booked 3 months out, did get on wait list for cancellations and got earlier appt. Very nice, thorough exam, test scheduled. Did not receive phonecall for test results after 72 hours. I called and left message, no return call. Poor followup with patients.
