Born and raised in Argentina. Grew up in the region of Patagonia. Premed and medical school completed in Argentina. Post graduate education in the USA. Gastroenterology fellowships at the University of Rochester Medical School in New York and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Practicing in San Antonio, Texas since 1983. Cofounded a Gastroenterology group practice that grew to eight physicians and in early 2016 joined a multi city group with office locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Marcos, Buda, New Braunfels, Hondo, Jourdanton, San Antonio, and many other. Married to high school sweetheart, three grown up terrific sons. Likes to hike, fly fish, read and spend time with family and friend. Volunteers with youth organizations mostly instructing and teaching fly fishing.
