Dr. Stevens welcomes new patients of all ages seeking care in any area of women's health starting in January 2015. Dr. Stevens is a board certified OB/GYN and a native Arizonan. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Passionate about caring for women, she completed a residency in OB/GYN at the University of Florida College of Medicine/Shands Hospital, in Gainesville, Fla. Dr. Stevens was in practice in Florida for two years before returning to her home state to be closer to her family. Patients describe her as warm and caring, and appreciate her commitment to preventative care and shared decision-making. A skilled surgeon, Dr. Stevens focuses on minimally invasive techniques to shorten recovery times and minimize the discomfort of her patients. She is certified in da Vinci® robotic-assisted procedures. "I would be honored to be included in your circle of care during pregnancy, a most important and exciting time," she says. On a personal note, Dr. Stevens is married with two children and two golden retrievers. She is an avid runner and also enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family.Read more

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
