Dr. Penland established North Alabama Psychiatric Services (NAPA) in 2016 to create a comfortable and compassionate outpatient environment, where experienced clinicians and their patients can explore and promote healing of emotional, mental, behavioral and family health problems. Each patient and situation deserves a thorough and respectful personalized assessment, with the most honest and appropriate care plan. NAPA is founded on the belief that in a private setting, with a professional, personal and collaborative multidisciplinary team approach, people will have the best chance to experience an alleviation of suffering, to grow, and to thrive in their lives.
