He obtained his medical degrees from St. Andrews and Manchester Universities in UK, in 1974, then gained extensive experience in most specialties, including hematology, pathology, orthopedics and trauma, before settling in CardioVascular Surgery, in 1982. More recently, he got interested and gained expertise in regenerative and stem cell medicine to treat diseases that have not fared well with standard medicine.
