This content was provided by Dr. Barmada "Dr. Barmada is a CardioVascular Surgeon with extensive experience in cardiovascular disease, including endovascular catheter-based procedures. He obtained his medical degrees from St. Andrews and Manchester Universities in UK, in 1974, then gained extensive experience in most specialties, including hematology, pathology, orthopedics and trauma, before settling in CardioVascular Surgery, in 1982. More recently, he got interested and gained expertise in regenerative and stem cell medicine to treat diseases that have not fared well with standard medicine. Dr. Barmada's affiliations and awards include: the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Venous Forum, the American College of Phlebology, the Royal Society of Medicine, the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (UK) in General and Cardio-Vascular and Thoracic Surgeries, medical licenses in 6 states (2 active) and three US patents."
