This content was provided by Dr. Khan "Dr. Khan graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. Upon completion of his Internal Medicine Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, he accepted an appointment as a clinical instructor in Hospital Medicine and won multiple teaching awards during his tenure as University teaching faculty. During his medical training, Dr. Khan was fascinated by the complexities of the human heart and the technological advances made in the field of cardiovascular medicine. After working as a Hospital Medicine Specialist for one year, Dr. Khan decided to pursue his passion for the heart and moved to San Diego for fellowship training in General Cardiology at the Scripps Clinic. After graduating from Scripps Clinic, he returned to Chicago to complete fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Khan and his wife reside in central Austin. His interests include playing basketball, running, traveling and exploring the beauty of the Texas Hill Country."
