First time was a little awkward, but we have built a good working relationship. He has helped with my back pain and with my memory issues. He has a dry sense of humor that might be off putting to some, but not me. I just wish he would speak a little louder since I have hearing issues too.

This man should not be practicing medicine. Rude and abusive are polite words. Insulting to clients and uncommunicative. He treats them like they are wasting his time. This man doesn't understand (or maybe doesn't care) about how vulnerable the client is coming in to get examined. Unbelievable.

Dr Birk has the best knowledge out of every Neurologist I went to in Redding. I had a condition other Redding neurologists couldn't diagnose for 4 years. I went to Dr Birk and within 1 appointment he diagnosed and started me on treatment. Now, I am finally pain-free. It is is blessing. His skill and knowledge is 11/10! And he cares about you

If I could give a negative 5 I would. He has absolutely no bed side manner. I've never had such an awful experience with someone who should be both professional and compassionate. Save yourself a huge Hassel and avoid this "doctor" at all costs. He has no interest in helping anyone, he will rush and shame you.
