New York, NY |
Dr Spiera is wonderful. His secretary Zuma is one of the least likable people on the planet. She is lazy, disorganized and crabby. After seeing the Dr, it took 2 weeks to get my prescription refilled. She lost the fax twice and refused to call the insurance company to expedite it. After the 3rd time, I called, she put me on hold for 20 minutes. When she picked up the phone, she pretended we had not be speaking earlier. She is such a miserable person.

it is impossible to work with his staff.

Dr. Spiera is an excellent doctor who explains everything in detail and doesn't rush you out of his office. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for his receptionist. She is extremely rude to everyone and every time I call for a prescription, referral, etc. she has an attitude and acts as if I'm asking for the impossible. She may want to try and smile and be nicer to Dr. Spiera's patients, many who are in pain and don't need the attitude from her.
