Out for money not to help patients with catracts. Pushed new cataracts lens that Medicare doesn't cover. Office does not want to work with Medicare. Have to go for 2nd opinion, because of cost and not Medicare friendly for surgery.

Very poor surgical outcome during a routine cataract surgery . Dr. Ilyas said he "did bad math" (I had also had Lasik done years before) which left me with an eye that did not focus near or far. Now it costs me a lot of money for special reading glasses/distance glasses, and has been...more

Went through a great deal of tests here and was rushed the entire time. Dr Ilyas advised me that I have narrow angle glaucoma and needed peripheral iridotomy. I am glad I got a second opinion since I do not have narrow angles at all. I have a thicker than normal cornea which can give increased...more
